I’m a conservative politically, but I don’t know a thing about him. Yes I read he (and his Turning Point USA group) was a mover on campus who attracted young people, and understood he was a Christian conservative. Not much else.
So why the vitriol from so many on the Left? I guess they didn’t agree with his religious or political views. This is enough to wish someone dead?
The man was killed by someone filled with hate and intolerance. This act was to shut him up, but why?
Whatever these political differences, they don’t explain the horrible comments posted on X from so many people about him or his death.
Who are these people posting this garbage and what is their problem? A school teacher from Iowa. An Emory University professor. Members of the military. A Realtor from Michigan. Government employees. All of them saying the most hurtful and uncaring things about the death of this American father. Why are they so against his right to speak?
I can only attribute this behavior to one thing: Charlie Kirk Derangement Syndrome.
Similar to Kathy Griffin holding a mask made to look like the severed, bloody head of U.S. President Donald Trump in 2017, today’s mentally-challenged activists are thrilled to finally be rid of someone with whom they disagree. Back then, people said the activists suffered from Trump Derangement Snydrome (TDS), a bizarre mental state so crazy that Congress introduced a bill in May 2025 to study the psychological and social roots of these extreme negative reactions to Trump.
The syndrome, to be studied by NIH, reportedly has divided families, the country, and led to nationwide violence including two assassination attempts on President Trump. Is this where thnigs are going now?
“Trump Derangement Syndrome has become an epidemic on the Left,” said Rep. Moore of Alabama. “Some individuals who suffer from TDS have participated in nationwide political and social unrest, even trying to assassinate President Trump twice. This common-sense bill will use already appropriated funds on an NIH study that can make a difference.”
So clearly it is time to update the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) used by the medical and psychiatric professions for classifying and coding diseases, symptoms, abnormal findings, injuries, causes of death, and other health-related conditions. Within Section F60–F69, “Disorders of adult personality and behavior” you will soon find “Charlie Kirk Derangement Syndrome” next to the earlier TDS.
